What are brogue shoes?
A brogue is a shoe finished with broguing – decorative perforations punched into the leather. Our men's brogues are Goodyear welted by hand in Almansa, Spain, a construction that lasts and can be resoled rather than replaced. The range is The Adelaide, a closed-laced oxford on a leather sole, and The Derby, with open lacing, a vertical storm welt and a studded rubber sole. Both fit true to size. How to style brogues
Broguing takes some of the formality out of a lace-up, which is why a brogue works as well at a wedding as on a day at the office. The Adelaide in black or brown calf belongs with a suit; The Derby in grain leather or suede is worn as easily with denim as with soft tailoring, year-round.
