City Structure
The Riding Boot is one of those pieces I always come back to. It has that classic equestrian feel, but it works just as well in a modern wardrobe. The clean shape makes it easy to dress up or down, and I love how the silver buckle catches the light without feeling showy.
For this look, I wanted that detail to stand out, so I paired the boots with an above-the-knee grey wool dress to create a long, clean silhouette. An oversized leather jacket adds contrast and a bit of attitude, while leather gloves pull everything together. It feels chic, practical for colder days, and exactly why I think riding boots are such a strong investment piece.
Everyday Tailoring
This might be the most straightforward way to wear The Riding Boot, and also one of the strongest. A tailored blazer over a crisp white shirt, finished with slim-fit jeans, and The Belt 20 mm. Clean, sharp, and easy.
What I like most about this look is how accessible it is. Most of us already have these pieces in our wardrobe, which makes it simple to recreate without overthinking it. The boots do the heavy lifting.
Dark Tones
Black and brown is one of my favourite combinations. It always feels confident and timeless. Here, I styled the boots with a dark brown wool poncho layered over a black knit to create depth while keeping the look relaxed.
The croc-leather skirt in a deep brown tone adds texture and a bit of richness. The mix of materials and classic colours feels well balanced, comfortable, and put together without looking overly styled. This is one of those outfits that just works.
Off-Duty Layers
This look was built around comfort, but I still wanted it to feel considered. I paired the boots with a black turtleneck knit and heavy leggings for a simple, cosy base. A grey wool poncho on top adds movement and softness.
To finish it off, I added long leather gloves and a relaxed black leather bag for texture and function. It is an easy everyday look that still feels polished, and The Riding Boot fits right in without trying too hard.
