The Hiking Boot may not be the best choice for actual mountaineering. However, that doesn't stop me from looking the part. When shooting The Hiking Boot campaign last year, together with Noam Asséraf, a look we put together featured green army trousers and a seriously heavy puffer jacket made for climbing K2. I think it's a great way of styling a contemporary look with equal parts expedition and city touring.

The Hiking boot in black grain features a new, improved silhouette that looks great paired with a rougher flannel suit. It's a perfect balance of contrasting looks.

The Hiking Boot in black grain deserves to be styled with a statement outfit. In this case, I'd go for an all-black look with a pop of grey to break up the silhouette. Wear The Belt in black embossed calf with the chromed buckle, which matches the jacket's zippers and hardware of the boots.

I've always been fond of classic americana styling in the likes of Jay Leno. He's the frontman of unapologetic double denim. Fortunately, it's way easier to pull off than people may think, especially with a pair of brown grain hiking boots. The colour goes great with faded denim, and to top it off, I'd match it with our new belt in brown grain as well.

As The Hiking Boot comes in my size, it has become an autumn/winter staple for me. I love to wear my pair with airy yet layered clothes. Wide pants in black, colour blocked with chalky off-whites. As always, I'll wear my belt in black grain and a pair of black specs.
