What are oxford shoes?
Oxford shoes are defined by their closed lacing: the eyelet tabs are stitched under the vamp, giving a sleek, formal silhouette. Ours are Goodyear welted by hand in Almansa, Spain – a construction chosen because it lasts and because it can be resoled rather than replaced – with a round toe and a balanced waist. The range is the classic Oxford on a leather or rubber sole and The Adelaide with brogue detailing, in black, brown and burgundy calf, brown suede and black patent. Both fit true to size. How to style oxford shoes
The natural companion to a suit: black calf for business and ceremony, brown or burgundy to take tailoring down a notch, black patent when the invitation says black tie. Choosing between styles? We explain the difference between an Oxford and a Derby.
