The Shoe That Grows – Q4 2020
Since 2018 we’ve worked closely with our non-profit partner The Shoe That Grows who tirelessly work to help kids in need. Specifically, we donate 1% of everything we sell which The Shoe That Grows then use to distribute shoes to kids in need. During a year when many suffered, we were committed to continue our cause and support our partners. If you’ve ever bought something from Morjas you have directly contributed to helping people where most needed. We can’t thank you enough for that. Each quarter we summarize our sales and make the donation to our partners. During Q4 we ended up donating 352 pairs. Pretty cool.
Meet Precious from Nairobi, Kenya. Her dream has always been to be a professional and talented dancer. After she received her first pair of shoes she shared that:
”I love my shoes because they protect me from getting jiggers and I can practice dancing in them.”
Kids should have the opportunity to dream. Even small things, like a pair of shoes, can open the door.
During Q4 2020, we donated 352 pairs of shoes to children in Kenya and Ethiopia. Since we started working with The Shoe That Grows in 2018, we’ve donated thousands of shoes. And all of this is thanks to you. We are extremely grateful that you honor us with your continued support. Thank you.
