the riding boot in black

Martina — The Riding Boot

Of course, having worked on the design of The Riding Boot for a very long time, it won’t come as a surprise to my colleagues that it’s my pick for this holiday season. Apart from that, nothing quite beats an elegant, high shaft boot, and this one is so timeless… it will age like fine wine. I can’t help but love a shoe that can be worn during so many different occasions. I need something that can work from colder seasons to warmer, that can be dressed up or down. This boot has all that.

Chris — The Alpine Boot in grain

It’s no secret. I freeze a lot. My colleagues always double-take when they see me sit in full fleece gear, so it shouldn’t be a hot take that my choice is The Alpine Boot. Since I already have a pair in suede, the obvious choice is the new grain versions. I’m particularly drawn to the brown grain pair.

Lovisa — The Slingback

A classy, elegant silhouette that is both timeless and contemporary. My gift of choice is The Slingback in… well, any colour. Although you can’t go wrong with the black nappa variant. It’s a shoe that’s just as good at the office as it is for that post-work drink or any other festivity.

Jack — The Belt

It’s that time of the year again, and you’re scratching your head thinking about what to give to your brother or dad. Well, I’ve got the answer for you. The Belt in pony hair. Either black or brown works, and the updated width of them feels slightly old-school, giving it a really lovely feel and balance. The material, however, feels modern and a bit flair-y, so it’s a great add-on for outfits that need just a little bit of extra spice. It’s a perfect gift to either receive or give.

Agnes — The Chalet Boot

At the top of my wishlist is definitely The Chalet Boot in brown pony hair. I may be a little biased, as I am obsessed with pony hair in general, but I really think that it’s the perfect winter boot.

I often feel it is harder to dress interestingly in the winter, as you are usually in need of a big coat that covers most of the outfit and blocks the elements. The Chalet Boot kind of compensates for that. They are subtle and go with everything, and the pony hair adds extra texture, bringing back a bit of excitement.

Rasmus — The Wool Sock

The perfect last-minute choice that balances equal amounts of actually useful and good gifts, with ahh socks again. Nonetheless, The Wool Sock is a quintessential Christmas present, and I’ll be on the lookout for soft packages this year.

The Penny Loafer Black Grain holiday attire-1

Henrik — The Penny Loafer

The Penny Loafer is one of those styles that just feels right. It's timeless, easy to wear, and made with care by hand in our Spanish workshop. From the first moment, it’s comfortable. Just something you want to slip into and keep on.

I’ve given it to friends and family myself. There’s a kind of quiet joy in seeing someone unwrap something that’s both beautiful and useful. It’s not loud or flashy. Just well made, and ready to be part of someone’s daily life.
