Five years ago, I launched MORJAS out of my living room with the mission of creating a brand that delivers WOW.


Inspired by the old-school service where the waiter at your local restaurant knows you by the name, combined with the technology that allows us to serve people worldwide: I let MORJAS out to fly.


And boy, did you fly.


On the day of launch, I didn’t even have a printer to create shipping labels. Orders came pouring in, and our garage-built website crashed. But I was obsessed with one thing – creating memorable experiences to the customer. Since then, we’ve grown to a team of hungry talents who share the same passion and drive to always deliver WOW. Whether that is in the form of product excellence, personal service, hyper-fast deliveries or inspiring content, we all share that same philosophy.


A philosophy that has created a global community of thousands of raving ambassadors. Some have customers. Others have fans. We’re lucky to have ambassadors. For that, I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.


None of this would be possible without the MORJAS team, past and present, who’ve poured their passion and talents into building this company. You are the real superstars of this exciting journey.


On that hot day in June 2017, we launched MORJAS with a penny loafer in a rare burgundy-coloured scotch grain. It was discontinued two years later and replaced with a new design, fit and colour. Today, we’re paying tribute to the nostalgic style that helped put our brand on the map by offering a reimagined version in limited quantities.

It’s our beloved penny loafer crafted in a similar deep burgundy scotch-grained leather. To elevate our celebration, we’ve marked each pair with an individual number, making each pair especially unique.


The batch is limited to 100 pairs, and I can spill the beans: There are only 99 left, as I’m keeping one for myself as a loving memory of the best years of my life so far.
