Although the exact heritage is a bit of a mystery, The Monkey boot has long had a firm place in fashion history. Hailing from Czechoslovakia, the boot is thought to have originated as a military shoe but quickly rose to fame in the 60s when it was the shoe of choice for British mods. It is handcrafted on a durable black, grained leather and is formed around our lace-up last, which gives the same comfortable fit as our other boots. With its distinctly sturdy rubber sole and lacing that extends to the toe cap, The Monkey Boot becomes a perfect choice for an everyday autumn boot with more flair than your run-of-the-mill shoe.

How to measure your feet:

1. Wear the socks you typically pair with boots

2. Place your foot on a piece of paper and trace its outline.

3. Measure from the heel to the longest toe using a ruler.

4. Match your measurement to the table above and adjust for foot shape accordingly.

Note: The CM and Inch values above correspond to the recommended size based on your foot's length, not the shoe's internal length.

Adjust for foot shape:

  • – Normal: Choose the size closest to your measurement.

  • – Wide and/or high instep: Choose a half size larger than your nearest measurement.

  • – Narrow: Choose the size closest to your measurement.
