Fits large in size – take half a size down The Penny Loafer runs about half a size larger than your usual size in lace-up shoes. For most, half a size down is the right choice. If you are unsure, our customer experience team is happy to guide you from a simple foot measurement. Find your size by foot shape Slim or low-volume feet: a snug fit over the instep is correct, and light heel slip during the very first wears is normal. The cork midsole and leather upper mould to your foot, and the slip disappears. Wide feet or a high instep: stay with your usual lace-up size rather than sizing down. Sizing down mainly removes length and can feel tight across the vamp. Between two sizes: choose the smaller. Leather gives slightly with wear – a loafer that starts loose only becomes looser. How your new loafers should feel Loafers, by design, should fit snugly to compensate for the lack of lacing – without pinching. The heel should feel secure, with no slipping, while the toe box should allow for a slight amount of movement. After a few wears, the cork layer in the sole and the leather upper will gradually conform to the shape of your feet, providing an even better fit.

* Rotate between wears and insert shoe trees after use to retain shape and minimise creasing. * Use a shoe horn when putting them on and remove the loafers by hand to protect the heel. * Brush or wipe the grain leather gently after wear to remove dust from the textured surface. * Clean with leather cleaner when required and apply a light cream to maintain suppleness. * Let the leather sole dry at room temperature if it becomes damp and keep away from direct heat sources. * If you expect frequent wear in wet conditions, add a thin rubber sole for extra grip and added longevity. * Store the loafers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
