What is a chukka boot?

A chukka is an ankle-height boot closed with two or three eyelets and a short lacing, originally military and long since absorbed into everyday wear. Ours are Goodyear welted by hand in Spain and come three ways: the lined Chukka on a studded rubber sole, the Moc Toe Chukka with a storm welt and a lug sole for colder months, and the Unlined Chukka on a single leather sole, softer and lighter for milder weather. All three fit true to size – take your usual size.

How to style chukka boots

The chukka sits between a lace-up and a boot, which makes it the easiest boot to wear with tailoring. The lined version is the year-round one, the Moc Toe handles weather and heavier trousers, and the unlined is the lighter choice for milder months.
