Whenever I mention that I love wearing loafers, people often respond by saying they’re not sure how to style them. But to me, loafers are among the easiest shoes to work into an outfit. I’ve put together three minimal looks that are effortless to wear and perfect for the everyday.
Sometimes, the simplest outfits are the most beautiful. Whether you’re heading to work, spending the day in the city, shopping, or meeting friends for lunch — these looks are versatile enough to carry you through it all.
City Chic
For a breezy spring day in town, style your ivory loafers with wide, airy denim for a restrained yet breathable look. I’ve paired mine with a beautifully cut camp-collar shirt in a generous silhouette. To finish, a handbag in a soft, tonal colour scheme ties everything together.
Business and Pleasure
The burgundy penny loafer is in a league of its own. It subtly complements almost any palette, but here I’ve leaned into its rich, wine-hued tone. This look blends office and off-duty: a tonal pinstripe shirt in a classic cut, paired with pleated tailored trousers in a soft nougat shade. Borrowing from the men’s collection, I’ve added a matching belt for a final matching touch.
Soft Monochrome
The black penny loafer is incredibly versatile. For an elegant yet relaxed take, I’ve gone for a loosely knit sweater in creamy white. To keep things light while adding a bit of structure, I’ve paired it with crisp, snow-white jeans. Then, for contrast — subtle black accessories and, of course, The Penny Loafer in Black Calf.
